Cheese & Herb Omelette

A herb and cheese omelette is a delectable breakfast dish made by mixing fresh herbs with creamy cheese, often varieties like cheddar or feta, in a fluffy egg base. Ingredients:

 

  • Eggs- 2

  • Fresh or dried mixed herbs- ¼ tsp Fresh Basil-few leaves

  • Chilli flakes - to taste

  • Salt- to taste

  • Grated Cheese- 50 gms

  • Ghee/ Butter- 5ml

Method:

​

  • Beat the eggs and all other ingredients together except the cheese and oil.

  • Heat oil in a pan and pour the beaten egg mixture.

  • Reduce the flame to minimum.

  • Cover it and leave till the egg mixture is set.

  • Sprinkle the grated cheese over one half of the omelette and fold the other half.

  • Leave it on the pan for a little more time and serve hot.

Nutty Omelette

A nutty omelette is a hearty breakfast known for its robust flavors and nutritional value. Ingredients:

  • Eggs- 2

  • Sesame seeds-10 gms

  • Flax seeds- 10 gms

  • Walnuts- 10 gms

  • Almonds- 10 gms

  • Ginger- ½ tsp

  • Salt-To taste

  • Chili flakes- ¼ tsp

  • Cilantro (Coriander leaves)- 10 gms 

  • Ghee- 30 gms

Method:

 

  • Finely chop the ginger and coriander leaves.

  • Make a coarse powder of all the mentioned nuts.

  • Mix all the ingredients with the eggs and beat the mixture.

  • Make an omelette and serve hot.

Ingredients:

  • Eggs - 2 

  • Paneer - 20 grams

  • Cabbage - 20 grams

  • Carrot -  10 grams

  • Capsicum - 10 grams 

  • Mushroom - 50 grams

  • Spring Onion - 20 grams

  • Ginger - 5 grams

  • Garlic - 5 grams

  • Dried Red Chilly - 1 

  • Dark Soy Sauce - 1 teaspoon

  • Vinegar - 1 Teaspoon

  • Salt - To Taste

  • Butter/ Ghee - 30ml

Method: 

​

  • Cut all the vegetables to thin slices (Shredded).

  • Mix all the sauces & salt and keep aside. 

  • Heat 1 Tablespoon Ghee/ Butter.

  • Add the Ginger, Garlic and dried Red chilly and sautee on a high flame.

  • Once the garlic turns golden, add all the other vegetables. 

  • Sautee for 2 mins and add the sauce.

  • Add the Paneer and cook it slightly til its completely dry.

  • Remove it from the pan and keep aside.

  • Beat eggs and add a little salt.

  • Pour ghee/ butter in a pan and heat it.

  • Make a plain omelette.

  • Spread the cooked vegetables on one half of the omelette and fold it over forming a half moon shape.

  • Salt- to taste

  • Fresh Cream- 50 gms

Method:

 

  • Beat the eggs, salt and pepper in a bowl.

  • Heat butter and add the beaten egg mixture.

  • Once it starts coagulating, add all other ingredients and cook further.
